One of our winners shares his fortune...

I'm an extremely lucky winner in the Guitar Hero Rock Icon competition

I chose to take my Sister Rosemarie as she helped me prepare and film the winning video. We also decided to bring our mum Grace with us to L.A.

29th April - The Journey/Arrival

It's now 2am on the 30th April I'm finally here! The journey started pretty good and things were running smoothly

until we boarded our plane...there was a technical fault and we were left waiting onboard for 2 and a half hours as the engineers were trying to fix the problem!.

The 11 hour flight was a smooth one...thank goodness!

We had Adam Garcia sitting on our isle; if you don't who that is he's an actor who's in Coyote Ugly. He spoke to Mum, Rose and me and seemed really nice, we think he's auditioning for a movie role as he was rehearsing lines on the plane.

We finally landed at 11:30pm L.A time so that's 7:30am UK.  The Hotel is very nice; we got to our room at 1:10am.

Time for us to sleep as we'll be up early to see what Santa Monica has to offer!
